• Veno-Veno ecmo is similar to VA ecmo in that the circuit consist of a deoxygenated venous drainage cannula attached to the patients inferior vena cava running to the ecmo machine and then a oxygenated cannula returning to the super vena cava

• Patients can be weaned off mechanical ventilation

• Patients can have lower sedation goals
